Welcome to our New Committee Member……Amanda Gunning

The ASCN UK is delighted to welcome and introduce Amanda Gunning, who has joined the ASCN UK Committee as Honorary Education Officer. Amanda will be responsible for overseeing content/education delivery in the form of webinars, the scientific programme at the Annual Conference, and other forms of information dissemination as deemed appropriate.

Amanda is the lead clinical nurse specialist at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. Her ethos is to support the generations of specialist nurses moving into the profession and those that are already established. Amanda believes in elevating the specialist role and underpinning this with research and evidence-based knowledge.

Being an integral member of the ASCN UK Committee enables Amanda to be part of the bigger picture within the stoma care environment, and assist in establishing positive change within the profession.
