ASCN UK 2025 Award Winners
The ASCN UK would like to extend our congratulations to all 2025 Award Winners. These awards recognise the hard work, dedication and excellence within our profession.
Winners were announced at ASCNUK25, held at ICC Wales from 12th-14th October 2025.
Stoma Care Nurse of the Year
Congratulations to Gill Skipper, winner of the Philip Salt Award –ASCN UK Stoma Care Nurse of the Year.
Kindly sponsored by Salts Healthcare, the award was presented by Robert Salt at the ASCNUK25 Conference Dinner.
It recognises an outstanding Stoma Care Nurse who has excelled over the past 12 months and truly deserves to be honoured.
Chairperson's Award
The Chairperson’s Award 2025 for Innovation and Advancing Best Practice in Stoma Care was presented in honour of Celia Myers.
Celia’s son, Jonathon, accepted the award on her behalf.
This award recognises Celia’s exceptional contribution, outstanding dedication and exemplary work within stoma care.
Pat Black Award
Congratulations to Emma Greenwood, winner of the 2025 Pat Black Award.

This award recognises an exceptional piece of journalistic writing within stoma care.
Best Oral Presentation Award
