LSA Recommendations Now Published

We would like to inform members that the NICE recommendations on one-piece closed bags for colostomies have been published.

The recommendations form part of NICE’s Health Technology Evaluation (HTE29) and relate to the late-stage assessment (LSA) of these products. This guidance provides evidence-based recommendations on the use of one-piece closed colostomy bags in the NHS, aiming to support best practice, improve patient experience, and ensure value for the health service.
