Opportunity to join ASCN UK Committee: Governance and Communications Officer

Date: 22 July 2026

An opportunity has arisen, and we are pleased to invite applications for a Governance and Communications Officer to join the ASCN UK Committee.

The Governance Officer is responsible for providing oversight, ensuring compliance, and promoting adherence to governance standards so that ASCN UK operates responsibly and in line with internal and external requirements.

This role within the committee is vital to supporting and guiding the future of the organisation and advancing stoma care across the UK.

The Governance and Communications Officer plays a key role in ensuring ASCN UK operates effectively, transparently and in line with its Constitution, policies and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the committee and secretariat, the role oversees governance processes, supports the safe and effective management of the Association’s communications and social media platforms, maintains relationships with key stakeholders and partner organisations, and contributes to the planning and delivery of the Annual Conference.

As an ambassador for ASCN UK, the Governance and Communications Officer helps strengthen the Association’s voice, supports good decision-making, and promotes collaboration across the stoma care community.

Deadline for nominations: 4th September 2026
