Dietary advice and ileostomy – the experiences of people living with an ileostomy and health care professionals

Researchers at the Nutrition Innovation Centre for Food and Health are recruiting volunteers working as Stoma Care Nurses or as Dietitians. NICHE are reaching out to ASCN UK Members to participate in an interview about your experiences of providing dietary advice to people living with a stoma.
They would like your help…
- If you are a Stoma Care Nurse (SCN), or a dietitian that regularly works with people living with an ileostomy.
- If you are registered with a professional body (i.e., Nursing and Midwifery Council, British Dietetic Association)
- Currently working as a health care professional (SCN or dietitian).
The interview will take place either online or in person, depending on your availability. A researcher will guide you through an informal discussion, which is expected to last 20-25 minutes. Please note that all views and opinions are valid, and there are no right or wrong answers.
If you meet the inclusion criteria and are interested in taking part, please read the Participant Information Sheet with full details of the study. Please follow the link below to the screening questionnaire and consent form to take part in the interview. Upon submission of these forms, you will be assessed for eligibility for the study.
